What happens if my identity document expires?

If your passport or government-issued ID expires, you’ll be asked to update your document directly from the app. Until the update is completed, some account features may be restricted.

Updating expired documents (self-service)

PRYPCO Blocks allows you to update expired KYC documents directly in the app to keep your account active.

  • Within 3 months of the expiry date, you’ll see a yellow banner at the top of the app prompting you to upload your updated document (e.g. a new passport).

  • Follow the on-screen steps to upload the new document and complete verification.

What if the document isn’t updated?

If your ID is not updated after it expires:

  • Your account will be temporarily put on hold

  • You will not be able to withdraw, top up, or invest until verification is completed

Access is restored once your updated documents are reviewed and approved.

Important to know

  • Keeping your documents up to date helps avoid interruptions

  • Verification timelines may vary depending on review requirements

  • You may be asked for additional information in some cases
