What is a proof of address (POA)?

We are required to collect a Proof of Address (POA) document to verify your residence status as part of your onboarding process.

Your proof of address must include the following details:

  • Full Legal Name: Your complete legal name must be clearly visible.

  • Date: The document must be issued within the last three months, except for property title deeds or active lease agreements.

  • Complete Address: Must include street, city, district, and country.

  • Clear Visibility: The entire document page must be visible and legible.

  • Issuing Authority: The document must show the official logo or name of the issuing organisation.

✅ Acceptable Proof of Address Documents

  • Bank statement

  • Letter from a bank or financial institution

  • Telecoms bill (internet, mobile, or landline)

  • Credit card statement

  • Title deed (confirmation of residence may be required)

  • Signed and stamped lease or tenancy contract (must be current)

  • Utilities bill (water, internet, electricity, gas, etc.)

Important Notes:

  • Date validation is not required for title deeds or active tenancy contracts.

  • If your national ID shows your address but the app's document list doesn't have an "ID card" option, select the closest available category and upload the ID photo under that option. The category label doesn't restrict what document type you actually upload — our team reviews it regardless of which category you select.
